Undergraduate school application procedures

The AA is a private institution and does not belong to UCAS; therefore you must apply directly through the school. The preferred method of application is this online form. A PDF version can be made available for visually impaired applicants, upon request. Using the online method of application, you will still need to separately post your portfolio with a completed Cover Sheet (PDF) (if applicable).

In order to make an application for 2019/20 entry to the AA, you will have to register. Please use the form below to register. You only need to do this once – after you have registered, you can use your username and password to log in as often as you wish to complete your application. Don't forget the deadline!

Application deadlines for 2019/20

Important: If you wish to apply for the 2019/2020 academic year, commencing in September 2019, please do not apply now. The online application form will open in October 2018.

  • Early applications for 2019/20 closed: Friday 16 November 2018*. Applicants wishing to be considered for a scholarship or bursary must submit their online form and portfolio by this date.
  • Late applications for 2019/20 closed: Friday 25 January 2019.

Both your online application, and your portfolio, must arrive by the dates listed above. Applications received after the dates above may be accepted at the discretion of the school.

    * Applications received after this date, but before the 25 January 2019 deadline, will be assessed for financial assistance at the discretion of the school.

To give yourself plenty of time to undertake your interview, consider your offer, and prepare for your move to London, we highly recommend you apply by the November deadline.
